Tips for planning a great birthday party for your child

A birthday party at an entertainment center gives children room to play and move, and saves parents the setup and cleaning. A little planning is enough to make it run smoothly.

Before the party:
- Book early, especially for holidays and weekends, because dates fill up fast.
- Choose the package that suits the number of guests and the kind of party, and ask exactly what it includes (hall, catering, decoration, play time).
- Decide how many children to invite and their ages, and send the invitations well ahead.
- Tell the center about any food allergy or special need among the children.

On the day:
- Arrive a little early to arrange what you bring, such as the cake or gifts, where this is allowed.
- Let the children play first and eat the food and cake afterwards; it suits their energy better.
- Assign one or two adults to watch the children and take photos.
- Remember water for the children between play sessions.

After the party: collect the gifts and belongings, share the photos with family, and note what to improve next time.
